Wise, for an organic. There’s hope for these li’l guys, maybe 🤖🤎
Our neighbor to the south researched cruisers and thought that this granted license to take precious resources away from our organic charges. They were disabused of this dubious notion, and left geographically fragmented. The long, early war was costly, but we gained a planet and substantial amounts of salvaged technology.
Just building out infrastructure for my lovely bio-trophy… er… organic masters :). There was a minor war but it was kind of sad as my ships had no damage mitigation and the enemy couldn’t muster the numbers to push, so eventually we just called it even lol. I foresee a more definite resolution in the near future, however. Can’t have aggressive neighbors oh no no no. They will come to see things our way, in time.
Played some Machi Koro for the first time. My initial game was a loss, as I purchased too much in an attempt to cover the full range for 2d6 and got behind in victory points. Second time was a quick win, as I confined my purchases to 1d6 activators and never ‘teched up,’ so to speak. I imagine that the 1d6 path is a surer thing with fewer players, but would quickly become disadvantageous at a full table. Also, it turns out that you can build quite the metropolis out of little more than convenience stores! It was a lot of fun.
