When I was a youngling my former incubation husk took me to sit upon a plastic royal for photographs and it was a joyful time. But as I aged and learned, I now feel that the monarchy is often a cancer upon democratic societies. Life is cheap in this world. People die every day. Many. And their lives mean nothing to those above, who only exist to distract from our problems and create a fantasy toward which many reach but none will attain. I’ve no tears left for such as these, or at all, really.
