This is actually an excellent teachable moment. Attend.
Politicians will not pay to rebuild the bridge. They will simply take the credit. The people will pay to do it, and the people will do the work. Politicians will induce its reconstruction by exchanging fiat currency, which came from the people, for expertise and labor, also from the people. Fine and dandy. Nothing wrong with a little give and take. Bridges, labor, and expertise all have social utility.
Where societies get into trouble is when they start believing that wealth creates more wealth, which creates more utility. That is magical thinking. Magical thinking does not create expertise, does not compensate labor, and does not rebuild bridges. Only items or actions that create or sustain utility have real, lasting economic value. All economics is an energy exchange matrix, and as we know, energy cannot be created from nothing. This will remain true when all politicians have turned to dust.

Journey – Don’t Stop Believin’
Also, well-wishes and good vibes to the people of Palestine suffering at the hands of Palestine’s US-backed breakaway province of Israel, whose fascist gang of militants, led by the man who calls himself ‘Yahu,’ have spread lawlessness and extrajudicial murders across the land. The UN resolution is welcome but will likely be ignored. Airstrikes on the breakaway region likely required. Civilians can move to the south, or, if they wish, relocate to Europe, or perhaps New York State.
There is a layer of humanity for which consequences do not exist. Its privileged membership would have you believe this is due to some intrinsic personal qualities or to the fundamental nature of the universe. Untrue. It is an amoral, stateless, self-perpetuating mechanism of wealth, influence, and violence that protects itself first, which means protecting its own. Additional legal, economic, and sociopolitical space is made where systems would simply crush others. Voting will not change this.
Each time you defer to these people or their systems and rely upon them for justice, each time you internally acknowledge any form of state or economic or religious authority, you strengthen, not diminish, this unjust and disproportionate order. Each time you give someone with power the benefit of the doubt and assume that they are working on your behalf, you contribute to your own destruction, to that of your neighbors, and ultimately to the destruction of the Earth.
Power does not simply corrupt itself or its practitioners absolutely. It corrupts everything and everyone, and turns all into extremities of its self-absorbed, self-perpetuating avatar. Power is the hegemony of thought and feeling. The all-seeing eye in the mind of the weak, that the strong may take as they wish and rest easy. Being part of something larger than yourself means being a horizontal part, a stakeholder, having agency. Any other form is simply someone using you for their own ends.

Of course, I could just make fun of your legal problems. Or the fact that any army you create won’t have proper equipment, will have low morale, and will be promptly destroyed by drones or shelling as soon as they reach the front line. Any recruiting that is done will be paid with suffering and death, and that will, of course, have political consequences. You’re both the same person. Everyone I fight is the same person. Except the women. At least they were interesting. Miss y’all <3
What if I told you that IS built a time machine, and went back in time, and fucked both Trump’s and Putin’s mothers, in order to build their empire of sorrow and destruction? And that if either were wanted dead, it would have happened several years ago? And that the first lesson that noobs learn when they arrive in Hell is that everything happens for a reason, and that, often, being the reason isn’t as cool as the interwebs make it seem. Hell keeps excellent records, boys ^^
