Red Hot Chili Peppers – Shallow Be Thy Game
You will not create something new by thinking the same old thoughts, in the same old order. You will do nothing more than daydream and self-aggrandize at meaningless frivolities if your mind is a prisoner of an aged policeman whispering dogmas within it, whatever trendy clothes he wears or slogans he espouses. If you are more afraid of social ostracism than of doing nothing in evil times, you are not concerned with the good but rather only with your own.
The only thing you should fear is doing wrong, not thinking it. Don’t fear your own mind, or the judgments of those who couldn’t care less about you yesterday but who take it upon themselves to be intimately involved in your damnation today. Another world is possible, but you’ve got to find it, first. And that means leaving the trail sometimes. You do not exist to validate the narrowly-defined groupthink of others. Your mind is your own. Use it. And know your own worth.

Religion is a club. Ain’t no ethnicity. Ethnicity is a social construction. Everybody born human, then they are either issued a club or join a club. The actions of club members reflect upon all club members. That’s what the 9k+ people in administrative detention without charge or trial in Palestine are being told, what bombing victims there are told, what antifas were told when we were taking risks to protect the Jewish community. Okay. Deal with the fuckups within your club, or quit the club.
