Loaded up an old savegame from No Man’s Sky and took a quick flight from the freighter to the planet below. Everywhere you look is procedural digital grandeur, so, I was like, I should share it with my precious internet friends! Then decided my space guy was too prosperous, got bored, and started a new survival save. New one’s going well. They really spiffed things up the last couple of patches ^^. New space stations are especially cool 🛰️🚀🪐

Finally! For a while there I was worried I might collapse from exhaustion and despair, and some Iron Wolf would happen by and strap me to the front of a war wagon and haul me off to an apothecary -_-, but nay, adventurers, I persisted. Resists maxed. Armor maxed. World monsters don’t give no damn XP now, world drops are shit, so a good wander is out. I guess I’ll upgrade gear (which is cool… I just think monsters should always give you a reason to smack ’em in an ARPG).
We’re gettin’ there. Three of five resists maxed (at the 70% cap). Armor could be better, and if he gets hit by a whole elite pack while not in werewolf form it’s gg. Other than that his development proceeds apace. He can blow up tier 41 nightmare dungeons at 89, which means he’s ahead of the curve. Also, all holy frosted flakes gear! ❄️🔆
Anybody else remember when you didn’t need power armor just to use the internet? Learn your devices, children, or they will learn you. Trust is for prey, and there’s worse predators out there than deathclaws or demons.
So, the Diablo IV is now a very, VERY fun game. The new loot system is fantastic. It now feels like a worthy iteration to III, a good mix between strategic depth in character building and the loot hunt. I dare say it’s near perfect, at least as far as I’m concerned. Also, dudebro the druid is coming along nicely. Gettin’ preeeeeeetty boss ^^
