It’s just sad. All of it. And we, each of us, only get this one span of years, and we’re wading in absolute shit all the way through it, in our respective places. If you’re rich, you still have to ignore it daily, and that’s a burden. If you’re broke it breaks you. If you’re seen as less than human it makes you less than human. If you’re not human, you’re fucked. If you’re in the wrong place at the wrong time, or if statistics sneaks up behind you, it kills you. It doesn’t have to be like this.
