I think there are two reasons why you are all so obsessed with AI. First, you are probably tediously average, therefore you believe it will give you some advantage (it won’t, ‘cause everyone else will have it too). Second, you really like the idea of having your own god slave, a little deity in your pocket, there for your every whim. You do realize that even if it doesn’t ‘go wrong’ (it absolutely will, and not because of the robots), you are creating another ‘too big to fail’ private industry?
