The rhetoric coming out of the fascist and authoritarian liberal right in the U.S. has reached batshit status (talking about how ‘there are no innocent Palestinians’ and how we ‘shouldn’t put a limit on the number of Palestinian civilians killed.’ And this is in Congress, not in the street). The word “fascism” contains more than simply antisemitism or conflict with Jewish people. These people don’t understand what the word means, which is why so many of them fall victim to it, in any country.
