Joe Biden knows exactly how many Palestinians have been killed during Israel’s recent campaign of ethnic cleansing in Gaza. Your tax money pays for very intelligent, very well-informed folks who brief him on these things every day. Don’t fall for the dumb racist uncle act. Dude knows exactly what’s going on. He just doesn’t care.

He doesn’t care because he doesn’t have to care. There are no international constraints placed on Israel. Just yesterday the U.S. and Europe were bending over backward to construct new language for the word “ceasefire,” because the Israeli leadership would throw a tantrum if the word was used. There are no consequences imposed on Israel, ever, for anything that they do, regardless of its legality or moral qualification. They even get their own special pocket universe lexicon from the world. Why?

The international community will never be able to control figures like Putin or regimes like the Kremlin or Iran if they cannot control regimes like the United States and Israel. Either we all follow the same rules or there are no rules at all. No amount of doublespeak or twisting of the truth toward a particular political end, and no amount of weapon sales or favors to Saudi Arabia or whoever will change that fundamental fact. This isn’t a multinational order, it’s organized crime.
