And, Israel seems to want the situation framed as ‘either you stand with the victims of the massacre several days ago and the hostages or you support or sympathize with Hamas.’ No. People are not taking the side of Hamas. What happened a couple weeks back was horrific. It was wrong. But what has happened since is on Israel and the U.S., exclusively, and, numerically and morally, the two aren’t in the same galaxy in terms of breadth and severity of injustice.
