I’m gonna be honest with you. If you’re supporting Joe Biden and his VP for a second term, you never really cared about justice or systemic reform. You cared about some false construct you called normal. You cared about your middle class privilege and comfort at others’ expense. Normal is radical inequality, quiet racism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, institutionalized creeping fascism, and environmental destruction. Normal is death for your neighbors, girlboss.

Biden is the oligarchy’s pet. He has done almost nothing for his constituents, against inequality, against racial or migrant injustice, against corporate influence over the political system, against fascism, or against environmental destruction. Oligarchs will always find a fascist to scare you with to get you to accept the stale puppets they give you. Every time you fall for that, or support it, you demean your own political system, and yourself, a little bit more, and make it that much more likely that it will all end in turbulent collapse.

I will not be voting for another neoliberal in my lifetime. If they give us a fascist to punish us, then we’ll simply fight the fascist. Because capitalism is simply fascism without the banners and slogans. The underlying belief systems and mechanisms of control are pretty much the same, as is the ultimate result for those who are not members of the elite.
