Like there is literally nothing special about democracy. It wasn’t handed down by Jesus (that’s communism). That constitution you tug your dicks over is just paper written by slave owners. If democracy cannot provide leaders worth a damn then we need to do something else. Life matters. Health matters. Quality of life matters. Justice matters. Universal safety and sustainability matter. If democracy can’t or won’t give us these things, something else is required. You’re playing with fire.
