It doesn’t matter how clever you are or how much you care. Socially, you can only be what the normies will let you, you can only change what they will let you. Exceed these boundary conditions too far or too fast without controlling situations and they will burn you at the stake and wonder where you went later. This is a natural law like gravity or entropy. For those who see beyond, ‘average’ is a dangerous, deadly word. Successful gambits must account for, or neutralize, the everyday primitive.
