It is Friday, though. Can’t help the people destined for doom and misery, after all, and the powers-that-be wouldn’t let us if we cared to. It’s the weekend, baby. Get out there and give poor people COVID and make some service workers miserable. And take a day off from the news. You’ve earned it. The lottery of usefulness to capitalism, and a willingness to view the grime in the world through the prism of enlightened exceptionalism, are never wrong about these things 🙂
