There’s nothing magical or special about any state. A state is simply a group of rich people who are willing and able to pay police and a military to do violence to solidify their own minority control over other people. Any state that is not a direct democracy is a form of dictatorship, as the decisions made by no more than a few thousand people, without universal consent, carry violent penalties for disobedience. And all contemporary states serve wealth, individual or corporate, above all else.
