So, anyway, like I been saying for years, this is what happens when liberals pin their hopes on an individual or a procedure to ‘save’ or ‘restore’ the country, while not solving underlying, systemic problems. The problems don’t go away, they only fester and metastasize… because the capitalism and the fascism weren’t actually dealt with. Magical thinking is unproductive. Also, the fascist right is adding fuel to this fire hoping it will buy them points in the suburban polls ^^
