You all see what’s happening, don’t you? It’s plain as day. Hitherto, in humanity’s twisted and accomplished history, the two primary attributes for success were intelligence and cooperation. Takes a lot of peoples to take down a mammoth, to harvest a field, or to defend a keep. But, maybe, once a system reaches a certain threshold of abstraction, particularly multidimensional abstraction that is, if I can get both theoretically and linguistically weird, here, subjectively objective, then maybe the primary stats for success change. Maybe now it’s perception, but not just arbitrary. Accurate perception of the layers and interactions of the greater abstraction, that would effectively carry the day. But, our people and our systems aren’t built for abstraction, simple or complex, nor are they manufactured by the system with accurate perception as the target. And, so, we keep hitting this bottleneck, individually and systemically, and that’s why everything is, and all of us are, fucking falling apart.
