‘Honor’ as an applied concept needs to be resurrected.

Not the old collective virtue signaling or desperate fear of making mistakes, but maybe status as a measure of personal honesty and integrity rather than as a function of wealth, deference to arbitrary authority, artificial standing, or dedication to tranquility over justice.
