So, I just woke up from a three hour nap, ‘cause I’m pretty sick (really hoping it’s not fucking coronavirus again, Merry Christmas to me, right?). I have slept for nineteen out of the last twenty four hours, lols. Anyway, I left the radio playing while I was out. And I had this (possibly fever) dream where I was fairly aware of the sound in the room and yet still deeply asleep. The first wild part was that I could feel my brain distributing the chemical to make me sleep, and keep me happy. This felt amazing. But I visualized it while dreaming as something akin to a river, but a river that looked like the flux capacitor from Back to the Future.
The other crazy thing was that I was visualizing all of the songs as they came up, and I would remember the ones that had passed when they were over. I was on this wide open plain and the songs became objects sort of like statues, with pedestals. They weren’t of people or anything recognizable, but the melodies and lyrics were making a kind of physical pattern on each, and each was different. It was a pretty wild, and very pleasant, experience.
